For Nelson, per Nikau, 1 p.m. For Southern Offices of New Zealand, per Mararoa, 7.45 p.m. The next best despatch for Continent of Europe will be via Brlndtei, closing at Wellington, per Warrimoo, Friday, 22nd inst , at 3.30 p.m. Mails for Australian States and South Africa cloee at Auckland, per Maheno, Monday, 26th inst., at 4.13 p.m. Malls for Tonga, Samoa, and Fiji close at Auckland, per Atua, Tuesday, 26th inst , at 8.45 a.m. The next best despatch for Canada, United States of America, Central America, and Weit Indies, will be via Rarotonga, Tahiti, and San Francisco, closing at Wellington, per Manuka, Friday, 29th inst., at 3 p.m. Mails for Niue close at Auckland, per schooner Kereru, Saturday, 30th hist., at 8.45 a.m. All books and sample packets and newspapers for places within the Dominion must be posted half an bour before the ordinary letter mail closes. Money orders for abroad must be obtained two hours before the advertised time of closing mails. Unless otherwise specified, registered letters and parcels-post ' packages must be handed in and money orders obtained one hour before the ordinary mail closes. All the principal mails by train and steamer close at Te Aro and Courtenay-place Post Offices at the same hours as ab the Chief Post Office, with the exception that there is no late-fee clearance.
