MARLBOROUGH SOUNDS EXCURSION
- ' >» The excursion trip of the steamship Mokoia, 2502 tons, to the Marlborough Sounds at Easter should prove enjoyable. She leaves Wellington on Thursday, 4th April, and returns on thr moming of Tuesday, 9th April. While already passengers are booking in sufficient number—berths are allotted in priority of application —caro will be taken to ensure no over-crowding. The fare is £4 for the round trip. There is calm water throughout, the Sounds, and aft the Union Steam Ship Company are making complete arrangements for the entertainment of passengers each day, everybody should have a healthy and exhilarating time of it. The recreations include fishing, boating, picnics, darioee, and concerts. Among the resorts likely to bo visited are "World's End" and Tennyson Inlet (in the Pelorus Sound)*' Admiralty Bay, and French Pass, and then (in Queen Charlotte Sound) Long Island, Endeavour Inlet, and East Bay.
