YACHTING.
The Port Nicholson Yacht Club completed its second series of races on Saturday afternoon. The results were as follow: — First Class.— Muritai 1, Siren 2, Ailsa 3. Also started — Waitangi and Nancy Stair. The Waitangi was a few minutes late in starting. The finishing times were: — Muritai, 5h 19min; Siren, 5h 19min Beec ; Ailsa,. 5h 24min; Nancy Stair, sh. 34min ; Waitangi, 5h 51min. Second Class. — Amai 1, Lizzie 2, Rawene 3. The finishing times were: — Amai, sb. 9min ; Lizzie, 5h llmin; Rawene, 5h 23min. NORTHCOTE CUP. By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright. MELBOURNE, 11th February. The Killara twice defeated the Sydney yacht Hawhiti 11., retaining the Northcote Cup for Victoria.
