LOCAL GAMES.

All senior games were postponed on Saturday, the Basin Reserve not being available. In the junior grade game, North v. Victoria College, North gained a full point win. Y.M.CA. defeated Catholic Club by 44 runs. In their eecond innings Catholic Club required 114 to win, but were all dieposed of for 70 (O'Donoghue 23, M'Grath 14). Plant took four for 37, Sclater two for 3, and Murphy two for 29. JUNIOR ASSOCIATION. Kilbirnie B, 176 (Hills 34, Helliwell 46, Higginbotham 28, Crouch 15, Pyecroft 15, Cowen 10), beat Thorndon B, 62 and 79. For Kilbirnie, Gray (six for 30) smd Helliwell (five for 27) bowled best. Kilbirnie A, 115 (A. Cunningham 28, Elton 19, J. Russell 18, Gilchrist 12,' Murphy 10) and 183 (J. Rueeell 59, Anderson 52, A. Cunningham 25 not out, Hatchard 15), beat Thorndon A, 71 and 145. Selwyn A, 145 and 156 for four wickets (Burns 12 and" 66 retired, Taylor 11 and 25 not out, Jeffries 40, Hopkins 28, Bradley 18, Galvin 37, H. Murphy 12), boat Harbour Board, 76 and 101. Walden took seven wickets for 19, including the "hat trick." Evans Bay beat Exchange by an innings and 72. For the winners, the principal scorers wore Wrigley 35, Miller 26, Smith 24, Day 23. For Exchange, Suson 16. Miller took seven for 34, Wrigky six for 41, and Day three for seven. Evans Bay B defeated Union by seven wickete. Ganbull (48 not out), Enting (41), Wicks (39), batted well for Evans Bay, as' did Joplin (50), Fennell (19), and Spillane (19 not out) for Union. THIRD GRADE. Catholic Club, 120 (Cokman not out 27, Carruthers 24, Bradley 22, Alley 15, Casey 12), beat Karori, 103 (Edwards 31, Atkin 29 not out). For, the winners Casey took seven for 32, and Carruthers three for 34. MISCELLANEOUS. New Zealand Times, 135, defeated Gordon and Gotch, 77. Vacuum Oil Company, 108 (Guy 22, Wilson 20, Earnshaw 17, Jardine 15), beat A. E. Kernot's 94 (Benson 27, Midlane 20, Mair 15, Simm 11). Bowling for the winners, Jardine took fivb for 39. Simm (seven for 22) bowled best for the losens. Kangaroos, 169 for five (Spotswood 67 not out, Miller 41, Crutty 18, Had'field 18), beat Occidentals, 164 (Butters 48, Jones 28, Cameron 16, Thompson 16). Vare and Miller bowled ■ well for the winners, as did Gallagher and Cameron for the Occidentals. BOYS' LEAGUE. Senior Grade.— Y.M.CA. beat Tele- | graph by one wicket and 28 runs; Hignest scores for Y.M.CA., Boeher 25, Watson 15; for Telegraph, Andrews 25 not out, Durrant 21, Greig 10 and 12, and Hobman 11. < Institute defeated Kilbirnie by nine wickets and 15 runs. N Donald M'Lean-etreet ; P.M. beat Trinity by two wickets and four runs, after a close game. Trinity' 6 first innings totalled 48, and they declared their second innings closed when the score Was seven wickets for 96 runs. Donald M'Lean-etreet made 85 in their first innings, and 63 for eight wickets in the second. Highest scores. — For Trinity, Tilyard 50 and 19, Grindrod 10-; for the winners, Hassell 16, Mandereon 16, Hedges 13 and 14, and Listen" 14. Junior Grade. — Manet Bros, beat Trinity by 53 runs and two wickets after a close game. Highest scores: — For Marifit, Marchment 30, Parrant 22, Ryan 18, Craig 13 ; for Trinity, Hollis 36 not out, Jeffries 16 and 10. Y.M.CA. beat Muritai. St. Ann's beat Mount Cook.
