LODGE MEETINGS.

f — A summoned meeting of tho Excelsior Lodge of Druids, No. 11, was hold at tha Druids' Hall. Bro. Gauntlett, A.D., presided. There was a largo attendance of membens and visitors The usual correspondence was, dealt with, and sick pay and accounts amounting to£2S 16s passed for payment. It was decided to send a , letter -of condolence to tho relatives of dccotised Bro. F. Yore, aad the lodge adjoutned out of respect to duceased'3 memory. On resuming business, ono candidate was balloted for and accepted. Visitors included offioors and members from the Pacific, Coronation, Holly, Star of New Zealand, Pride of Brooklyn, tonoke, and Island Bay Lodges. A hearty vote of thanks was passed to tho visiting brethren. 'An election for the Hall Committee rosoultcd iv Bros. F. Brown (secretary), Salt, Woodhom. Austin, Hook, M'Elwain, and Gauutlett being elected. Standing oruocs were suspended to enable tho visitois to take part in tho discussion on the proposed amendments to rules to be dealt with at the Grand Lodge meeting en 12th February. .After several items had beon dealt with, it \vas_ decided to adjourn until Wednesday evening next, at 7.30, r<j> allow members to more definitely consider in tho interim the various anwndmonts proposed. Tho lodge opened and clospd with harmony, Bro. M'Laughlin presiding at tho piano.
