RHODES SCHOLARS.
SOUND, BUT NOT BRILLIANT. By Telegraph.— Pmn Association. -Copyright. (Received January 27, 10 a.m.) LONDON, 26th January. The annual report of the Rhodes Scholarship Trustees shows that the 176 scholars for last year did sound, though not brilliant, work. "The selection apparently does not reach the highest types of scholarship in Germany, America, or the colonies, being possibly affected by the all-round physical and intellectual conditions imposed.
