JAPAN FAVOURS CONSTITUTIONAL MONARCHY.
TOKIO, 21st December. The newspapers aesert that the Government of Japan favours the establishment of a constitutional monarchy in China. REMOVING MISSIONARIES. PEKIN, 21et December. A number of missionaries belonging to the China Inland Mission at Hunyai have reached Hankau. They were eecorted by revolutionaries to Chunking. During the journey the escort repulsed an attack by bandits, of whom twelve wei'e ehot.
