JOURNALISTS' INSTITUTE.
MEETING OF LOCAL COMMITTEE. A meeting of the committee of the Wellington branch of the New Zealand Institute of Journalists was held yesterday afternoon, Mr. E. Schwabo presiding. The committee had under consideration the resuscitation of the Auckland branch, and a committee was appointed to confer with the Council of the New Zealand Institute on the subject. The wish had been generally expressed that it would be desirable if the suggestion were adopted. The council is to be asked to consider ' the advisablenees of revising the bylaws. Four members were elected.
