ENTERTAINMENTS. RICKARD& VAUDEVILLE COMPANY. Alcide Capitaine is still tho loading attraction at the Opera Hoitee, and her graceful work on the trapeze earns her • unstinted applause. Clarke and Mostol, Binns and Binns, Pastor and Merle, Sydney Bach, Alf. Holt, Fanny Powers, and the other artists provide a refreshing programme, which will be repeated this evening. On Monday night there will be a complete change, and another fine bill is promised. ' THE THEATRE ROYAL. The Kinemacolor Pictures now in season at the Theatre Royal are commanding a considerable share of public patronage. To-night is the last night of the present" series'. l FULLER'S PICTURES. The Ingestre-street picture theatre was again largely patronised last evening. A good programme of dramatic and other films was shown, and, in addition, there was screened the second series of the baby competitions. THE KING'S THEATRE. "Fools of Society," the stirring dramatic film, will be shown at The King's Theatre for 'the last time tonight.- There will be a Complete change of items on Monday. THE NEW ' THEATRE. ' In the changed programme presented at the New Theatre last evening there was a further ' instalment of war pictures from Tripoli. The Italian fleet is shown manoeuvring in the Mediterranean. A torpedo attack and the work of the naval brigade on land are also depicted m a long film. There is also a lengthy picture 'sKowing the launch of the Commonwealth Dreadnought and the incidental ceremonies. A Bison drama,' , "Silverwing's Dream,' is an Indian story with no intricate plot but much to commend it. The acting is good,- and a moral in tabloid form' is attached. The programme will be repeated to-night and this afternoon. THE STAR THEATRE. The Star Theatre, .Newtown, has a good series of pictures showing the damage by floods in Pennsylvania. Other scenes 'are "^he Wye Valley," "The Judge's Story," and "Miss Smith Swimming." THE BIJOU THEATRE. Last- night's programme at the Bijou Theatre took the form of a Boy Scout performance. Besides a number of appropriate films, the usual budget of topical and scenic studies was .screened. A change is advertised for this evening. AUCTION AND PROPERTY SALES Messrs.' J. fl. Bethune and Co. will sell on Monday, at 2.30 p.m., at their rooms, under instructions from the Registrar of the Supreme Court, a residential property at Petone; comprising land having an area of 14.4 perches, situated in Elizabeth-street, Petoue, and on which stands a five-roomed dwelling. On the same" day, at 2.30 p.m., under instructions from the mortgagee, they ai;e submitting two five-roorhed dwellings in Mortimer-terrace, containing five rooms and bathroom, on land having a frontage of 35ft tin; and No. 76 Mortimer-ter-race; ' containing five rooms, on land 50 by 92 feet, having an entrance ,15 feet wide from- Mqrtim t er-tefraoe.
