LEVIN FLOWER SHOW.
'At the opening ceremony of tHo local Horticultural Society's flower show at Lovin yesterday, Sir Joseph 'Ward, Prime Minister, complimented the exhibitors on the excellence of the general display, and the beauty and variety of the blooms bore testimony to the, care and energy of the growers and the fertility of the soil of the Levin district. Amongst those present at tho flower show wore Lady and Miss Ward, and Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Field. Mr. J. Prouso, president of tho society, introduced tho visitors. The dha'mpion rose was exhibited by J. T. Whyto, and was of the variety known as Mrs. David TVl'Kee. The judges of the decorative flower work, Misses Murray and Duff, said in their report that many of the exhibits in tji&jt clasa ware vef*
