TAX ON THE POOR. ATTITUDE OiTtHE DOCTORS. . (Received November 21, 12.45 p.m.) LONDON, 20th November. Mr. Phil Snowdon, -Socialist M.P., speaking at a demonstration at Bow, declared that contributions from the poor under the Insurance Bill were tantamount to increased taxation. Tlio result would, be tbe deterioration of the workers' physical condition. Eleven hundred Lancashire and Cheshire- doctors have declined to assist the Insurance Bill in its present form.
