Owing to the prolonged absence of some of her firemen the Turakina was delayed in getting away for London until shortly before boot on Sunday. The vessel sailed from the stream, having moved from the wharf some six hours previously. For-Monte Video: 10 'live rams, 22 packages general cargo. The Turakina alto took a large quantity of dairy produce from various ports, KUROW LEFT NEWCASTLE. The Kurow left Newcastle at 7 last Saturday with a load of coal for Wellington and Picfon, The vessel should arrive at Wellington on Friday. GREYMOUTH BAR IMPROVED. Conditions have greatly moderated at Greymouth, and the bar was worked both last night and this morning. The Mapourika got out of the port last night for Wellington direct. The vessel, which should arrive at Wellington about 9 o'clock this evening, will sail at 4 p.m. to-morrow from the Rail-way Wharf for Westport direct, and Greymouth. The Arahura got into Greymouth at 11 o'clock last night, and,sailed at 8 a.m. to-day for Wellington via usual ports. Other steamers successful in crossing the bar inwards were the Holmdale, Defender, and Ngatoro, while the Ngahere got out of the port. Early this morning, however, there was still too much sea for the other vessels to cross the bar. Latest advice received, by Hie Union Company this afternoon was . that both the Kinl and Kaiapoi left Greymouth this morning for Wellington, the latter vessel .'at 11' o'clock. INDRALEMA AT LONDON. The Indralema arrived at London on the 16th November, 49 days out from Bluff. MO A AGROUND AT FOXTON. Tho Moa left Foxton at 8 p.m. yesterday for Westport, via Wanganui, but grounded on the bar* while proceeding down the river. It is-honed to get the vessel off on'this evening's tide. ■ The Delphic left Capetown last Friday afternoon, en route from London to Auckland and other New Zealand ports. Wellington should be reached about the 20th December.

The Kairaki is expected to leave Lyttel.tou to-night for Wellington with a load of produce. The steamer, will sail at 3 p.m. to-morrow for Greymouth and Hokitika. The Kahu left Wellington last night for the East Coast to load the last of the Te Awaite wool. The Vessel should arrive back to-night and sail- to-morrow evening for Mataikona to load wool for the, s.s. Rimutaka.
.Owing to her detention at Wanganui-the Petone will not be at Wellington from Lyttelton till Thursday. The Bur a is to leave Napier to-day for White Rock to load wool for transhipment into the Rimutaka at Wellington. The Manuka ana'Zealandia will probably be within wireless range of Wellington, this evening.
The Union Compariy's mail steamer Marama arrived at Vancouver from Auckland at 4 p.m. on Wednesday last. The Marama is timed to sail again from the Canadian port on Wednesday, 29th November, She is due ba«k' at Auckland on Tuesday, 19th December. The barque Helen Denny has 1070 tons Of coal to discharge at Lyttelton from Newcastle, after which she will proceed to Hokianga to load timber, for Australia. The Ruahinc, which is due at Wellington about the 12th. December from London, continued her Voyage from Capetown last Saturday. The Kia Ora is expected at .Wellington on Thursday from Picton, and will sail on Saturday for London. ' ..." Mr, C. Dalil signed on the Eiripaka as mate yesterday.
The auxiliary ketch Jane will return to Golden Bay to-day after she has. put out her cargo of timber. The ketch is commanded by Captain, T. Green.
The departure of the Navua from Auckland for Fiji has been postponed till-Thursday.
The Waitemata is not leaving Timaru until to-night for, Wellington. It is unofliciallj reported that H.M.S. Pioneer will be at New Zealand in January from Hobart.
The Rimutaka -will be at Wellington tomorrow from Napier, and will leave db Friday for Lyttelton to complete loading, and sa.il on Saturday for London via ports. Mr, Wooden joined the Poherua yesterday as chief officer in place of Mr. Webb, who came ashore for orders. Mr. Whyborn'has gone south for orders.'
Mr. C. AV. Crool joined the Mokoia yesterday Us third engineer, and Mr. J. W. Watson signed off the vessel as fourth.
