RESERVED JUDGMENT.
_ Dr. M' Arthur, ' S.Jili, gave reserved judgment to-day in tho Magistrate's Oourfc m the case jn which Thomas M'Call sued P. R. Russell and Co.. Ltd., for £143 7s 9d fta damages. The action was in connection with the sale of a saddlery business at Hnnterville. Defendant counterclaimed .Worship, gave judgment for defendant on the Counterclaim Iqr £l9. 3s, and to-day he gavo judgment for defendant on tho claim: Mr.- A. Fair foi 1 plaintiff, and Mr. 0, R. uix for defendant. Roserved judgment was given by Dr. M'Arthur, S.M., to-day in the caso in which Stevenson and Ferguson proceeded against Drpwitt and Builtord, to recover tho Bum of £69 la Id for engineering work done ntid material supplied. Defendant paid £3O into Court,' and contested the balanae of the amount of the claim. His \yorship said that after, careful consideration ho had no hesitation in saying that thfe amount paiq intg Court was afair and payable sum for the work done. Judgment was given for plaintiff for this amount, but without costs. Mr. Dunn appeared for plaintiff, und Mr. F. Willis for dofendant.
