TURK OFFERS TO MAKE A STRANGE WAGER. SYDNEY, 15th November. The Consular reports concerning tho Tripolitan war has led to a verbal battle in the press between a prominent Itallian and a Turk resident in Sydhey, ending in the Turk offering to put up a young Turk and £50 wager for a boxing contest with an Italian, willing to defend the honour of his country. Tho offer awaits acceptance.
