PEARCE BENEFIT FUND.
The Misses Vare and others, on behalf of the committee, aro making a final effort to enlarge the Pearce benefit fund, and to-night, in St. Mark's Schoolroom, at 8 o'clock, they will present a dramatic performance in aid of the iund, staging a two-act play, entitled "Hard Times." It is by Miss Ida Vare, one of the performers. Apart from the deserving , cause, the programme (it is stated) will' repay the prices of admission, which are — adulte Is, children 6d. The fund closes after this date (lsth isoyember), and the. executive cqmmittee will meet at the Brooklyn .Schoolhouse on Friday, 17th November, at 8 p.m. Holders of outstanding collecting cards are reminded that it is necessary to return their cards to the treasurer (Mr. A Bates) not later than tomorrow night.
