MINING NEWS. OLD HAURAKI.

The Stock Exchange has received ths following telegram from the Old Hauraki Company :—"lslbs: — "151bs picked stone No. 2 block, 300 level; lOlbs No. 1 block, 400 level." AIOUNT LYELL. The half-yearly report of the Mount Lyell Mining and Railway Company show's that the outputs from. Mount Lyeli and North Mount Lyell Alines amounted to 165,159 tons., a reduction of 17,950 tons on the previous half-year's production. This was caused by shortage of labour and also by the strike- of employees.
