VICTORIA COLLEGE CRICKET CLUB. ANNUAL MEETING.
At the fourth annual general meeting of the Victoria College Cricket Club, Mr. S. W. Dempsey, club captain, presided. In reply to a' letter from the Wellington Cricket Association, aekfng for an opinion on the district scheme, it was resolved, after some discuseion, that the club wae in favour^ of the principle involved in the district scheme. A mtmber of alterations to th© rules of the club were made. The election of officers resulted aa follows : — Patron, Prof e«6or Hunter ; president, Professor Picken ; vice-presidents, membere of the College Council and Professorial Board, and Messrs Eichelbaum, J. •P. Firth, A. C. Clifford, and R. W. Burbidge; club captain, ]Str. S. W. Dempsey ; hon. secretary, Mr. P. B. Broad ; hon. treasurer, Mr. C. A, Berendsen ; committee, Messrs. Caddick, O'Shea, Salmond, and Martin ; delegates to the Wellington Cricket Association, Professor Hunter, and Messrs. Dempsey arid Willis (Mr. V/B. Willie to be delegate to the Association Committee) ; hon. auditor, Mr. V. B. Willis.
