He left his house at Tutua on Sunday morning to go 'to a ; slaughterhouse, where he is employed, and as he did Hot return for dinner, a search was made. Jackson was found late in th© afternoon lying face downwards on a stump.~ 'He was not then dead. A party with a trolley went to fetch him home, but by the time it arrived he had expired. As his jaws Were Broken, it is presumed he took a fit and • fell face downwards, and in this manner fittsiftined the injury.
