INQUEST AT THE HOSPITAL. At the ttoepitaj yesterday afternoon Dr. M' Arthur, coroner, held an inquest concerning the death of Mr. J. W. Braithwaite, who ehot himself with a revolver in his office at the City Anc* tion Mart, Mannems-etreet, yesterday morning. Dr. Henry gave evidence that he was called .to the mart shortly after 9 a.m. yesterday, when he foftnd deceased ift practically a dying condition. On examining deceased, a bullet wound was found in hia head behind th« Tight «ar. A revolver was lying on the floor, and the wound appeared to have been self* inflicted. Braithwaite, and Dr. Hardwick Smith. The Verdict was that deceased had died from a wound self-inflicted while temporarily of unsound mind.
