It is reported fi'6m Matndlj in the Congo Free State, that the Germnn steamer Edea was unloading gunpowder, When an explosion occurred, killing three whites, including one of the ship's officers, and ten natives. [The Edea is a steel screw steamer of 2486 tons, built in 1903, and owned by the Hamburg Amerika Company.]
