(Received August 24, 8.5 a.m.) OTTAWA, 23rd August. The Hon. Mr. Clifford, ex-Minister of the Interior, is campaigning in Ontario against reciprocity. He denounces an entanglement with the United States, the sole aim of which would be the political absorption, of Canada.
