ASSOCIATION.
Mr. J. J. Roberts presided over the Weekly meeting of the Wellington Football Association last evening. Letters were received from the, Wei' lingtdtt Hockey and Lacrosse Associations granting the Wellington Football Association the sole use of the Basin Reserve next Saturday for the match between the Auckland and Wellington fourth divisidß representatives. The match will commence at 3.30 p.m. It vr&s decided to commence & com* petition among fifth division playere next Saturday for a set of silver medals presented by Mr. J. F. Andrews. The Canterbury Association notified that 16th September was a suitable date on which to play .the Wellington-Can* •terbury Brown .Shield match, to be played at Chrtetchurfch. This date was accepted. A letter was received from the Keltmrne Anglican Sunday School intimating that they wished to enter a team for the sixth division competition. This was referred to the Boys' Sub-Commit-tee. It was resolved to commence t*ne Senior Charity Cttp competition next Saturday,
