ELECTRICAL WORKERS' DISPUTE.

The Conciliation Council spent yester day afternoon in committee in dealing with matters in connection with the Electrical Workers' dispute, and an ar rangement of many points was effected by the parties. Recommendations upon otheT i claweee delating to wages, hours, overtime, preference, etc., will be made by the council to the disputants, and it is expected that the whole difficulty will be satisfactorily surmounted. Conditional exemptions were granted to ,the Harbour Board, and the Meat Companies, and in many instances private fiinv which had been cited were stTuck out, owing to representations having been made^ that they employ any class of electrical worker.
