WELLINGTON ROWING ASSOCIATION.

ANNUAL MEETING. At the annual meeting or the Wellington" Rowing Association, the following officers were elected : -"President, Mr. H. p. Bell ; viee-presidefits, Messrs, R. W, M'Villy, C. Pearoe, A. S. Biss, R. Mothes, J. HutehesSfl, G. tf. C. Campbell, and . Hugh Pollefl ; hon. secretary and treasliref, Mf. B. A. Marris. It Was decided to open tho season on Saturday, 30th September, ahd His Excellency the Governor is to be invited to perform, the opening ceremony. The secretary was instructed to apply to the New Zealand Rowing Association, to have the next _ championship regatta f allocated to Wellington. The championships have not beon held in Wellington since 1904 The meeting also resolved to nominate the following efficefs {or positions on N.Z.A.R.A. ;— Mr. A. S. Bns, as president, Messrs. A, S. Biss and C Pearce, as vice-presidents; and Mf. A. D. Bayfield a» honorary secretary and treasurer.
