ANNUAL MEETING. j The afmttal meeting of the Ministers 1 Association was held in the V.M.C.A. rooms yesterday. Thefe was a fair at* tendance of fflembea-k. J, Jh»th was felectedpresident of the association, and the Rev. J. R, Clark was re-elected secretary and treasurer. Thecoming Cha.pmah-Alexander mission Was discussed, and the setirttery was directed to communicate with other centres regarding financial and other mattpra. tt was agreed to send letters expressing the sympathy of the ftseociation to Revs. Patterson and Cossum, and Mrs. T. E. Taylor, in their bereavement. With reference to Mr. Taylor's work, the following resolution was carried unanimously s -." The Wellington Ministers' Association places on record ita sense of irreparable loss sueta-ined by the nation in the removal of Mr, Taylor. It rejoices in hia devotion to social reform, and especially in the dedication of his life to the No'license movement, and to the eaufte of the workers, and truets that hifl final messages will bo cherished by the people of this Dominion." An intei'€feting paper, " The Maori of To-day," was read by the Rev. A. J. Seamer, of Petone. A hearty vote of thanks Wad pawned to the board of directors of V.M.C.A. for the use of the room in Which to hold meetings.
