Columbia asserted itself early, and ere many minutes had elatised had secured a point. Kelburne, .however, soon got' on level terms, and the first quarter was called with scores equal— I—l. In the second (juarter Columbia assumed the lead mainly through the efforts of Fama, Grant, and Leydon. At half time the blacks were in the lead, with 4 goals to their opponent*' 2, On resuming, Kelburiie fotced mattera and equalised through Button and Meyer. The latter 'b goal should not haye j been awarded, as the referee had previously blown his whistle for a boundary. In the last quarter both teams scored twice. For Columbia Fama, Leydon, Grant, King, arid O'Leary were outstanding. Kelburne'e best were Hutton, Cauty, Jones, Gamier, and Jordan. Mr. P, J. M'Govern wae the referee.
