Election activity hr.s begun in the Quebec province. The French Nationalist leaders are .arranging a campaign. The chief plank in the platform of the Opposition is Sir Wlifrid' L&ivrier's navy policy. Sir Wilfrid Laurier (Prime Minister), announced in the Dominion House of Commons that as soon as a vote had been taken on Reciprocity the House would proceed to discuss the Estimates. As the Conservatives have pledged themselves to refuse Supply until elections are held on the Reciprocity issue, the Premier's statement i« taken to mean an immediate dissolution of Parliament.
