We are expecting to realise well upon the chairs, timber, iron, and other material. We do not propose to have an auction sole of these at first., but to sell in lote as required, believing that we shall thus obtain a. better price. "From the point of view of stimula* ting interest in local manufactures, the Exhibition has been an unqualified success. Only this morning Mr. W. F. Massey, M.P., who paid hie first visit to the Exhibition, assured me that the scope and character of the exhibits- had proved a valuable object lesson to him. ".out all will end to-night," Mr. Bal* linger added. "On Monday the carp&ntem will begin ' pulling down the fittings. The stalls will also come down. The material will be stored in U Building, which the Harbour Board has permitted tw to use for three Weeks for that purpose, We owe nothing to anybody except the Harbour Board. The ■ chairman, members, and officers of the board ha>ve been staunch friends to the Exhibition. We are deeply indebted to them. We have never been refused any reasonable request, and I am pleased to acknowledge th© great debt we owe to the board. 1 "
