THE EXHIBITION.
CLOSING SCENES. Yesterday 2295 persons went, through tho turnstited at the Exhibition, making tho total 154,689. Yesterday's caeh taking at the entrances amounted to nearly •860. A ball has been arranged to be held in the Stadium this evening. The floor is said to be in excellent order for dancing, and a nrsl/'dais orchestra ha 6 been engaged to provide ths music. Dancing Will comniHice at 8,30. Special attractions have been arranged for the closing day to-morrow. There will be a Punch and Judy Show, a free cinematograph «how, and from 2.30 till 4 o'clock, a fancy dress carnival for children. Children, both boys and girls, wearing fancy dress costume will be admitted flee. Seven pound's worth of prizes are to be awarded. A fancy dress carnival for adults takes place afc night, when competitor*) will obtain admission free. Valuable prizes amounting to £50 will be awarded, Every thousandth peffion passing through the paying turnstiles k to receive a gold filled Watch, and a. prize of £6 will be given the person guessing the figure nearesfc to the total number who visit the Exhibition during the day. Free samples will, as on the previous Saturday, be distributed. Dr. Bofghetti leaves Wellington) by the Manuka, to-day on a month's holiday trip to Sydney for the benefit of his health. Advertising on fences around the city lias aroused the displeasure of Councillor Cameron, who brought the matter up at the_ Crty Council laet evening.
