WORK ON THE PARRAMATTA, By Telegraph—Press Aisoolation.— Copydjli*. SYDNEY 26th July. Arnst and Pearce, who are to row for the championship of tho World on Saturday next, put in excellent trial spins today, rowing level to Uhrs Point, when Pearce shot ahead by a length and a quarter, maintaining his lead Until beyond the mile beacon, where his pacemakers dropped out. Arnst made a spurt and shot two lengths in front, then dropping back. Shortly after this he stopped. The most .noticeable teattuc of the rowing was ths difference in the two men's styles. Arttst took a long, sweeping stroke, catching and finishing liara, while Pearce's strokes were considerably shorter, but he dipped faster, and was particularly lively.
