All qualities are extremely firm at opening rates. Continental buyers are especially keen for Merinoes and fine crossbreds. The following are prices realised for ' the fleece portion of the dips named : "Kaiwoka," top price lid, average 9id; "Acland," top price 13d, average 10|d; "Kara," top price 12d, average Hid; "Maaoupe," top price 15d, average 14d j "Mgeio," top price 10id, average 9sd; "Hiku/' top price ll£d, average lOgd; "A.W.H.," top price UAd, average 10|d.
