WELLINGTON MUSICAL UNION.

It is proposed to give Dvorak's picturesque cantata " The Spectre's Bride " early in June, as tho firet concert of the season, and in view o-f this all tho members of the union are requested to attend practico this evening at the usual time and plaoe. Since the annual meeting on Monday last the union has received through its president and several private members, many promises of financial and musical support, so it is hopefully anticipated that a prosperous year will be inaugurated by the forthcoming concert. The* society will be glad of a few more male voices, and any gentlemen wishing to join are requested to attend at St. Andrew's Schoolroom this evening, or to communicate with the secretary, Mr. A. M.
