TEMPLARS CRICKET CLUB.
On Th.©. membeiTS ,of tho Templars Cricket Club held a, euchze party and dance at the New Century Hall last evening. In the absence of Me. J". G. W. Aitken. (president of the club), Mr. Tbwnsend (vice-president), presented tho following prized ■ won, during the yeadr't-r-B&tting average, E. Byan; highest Bcore, B. Wttght; bowlmg average, J. Blenkinsop; fielding, R, Blenkinsop ; ' most improved player, C. W. Brown ; player holding most catches, G. Lambert j beat all^ round player, E. Dooley. In addition to these two special prizes were given by members to J. Blenkineop for capturing ten wickets in one innings. One trophy wae the ball used on that occasion, suitably motuited, aoid the other was an illuminated copy of the score-sheet of the innings. The committee, M'Cedames Allan and Herdman, Miss Murphy, and Messrs. Wright, M'Kenzie, W. ,A. Allan, and Dry<len, was responsible for the success of the function.
