PLOUGHING MATCH. A SCENIC RESERVE. [bi mlzgbaph— special to the post.] FEILDING, This .Day. It has been finally decided to hold Feilding's first modern ploughing match on. 28th June in Mr. Wm. .Reid's paddock at Makino. Mr. Ernest Short has undertaken to provide a 1 free N lunch for all visitors. Messrs. W. J. Phillips, J. Noiihcott, O. M'Ekoy, A. Campbell, and H. J. Booth have been appointed judges. Tie Government has had a new valuation mad© of Bartholomew 'b bush, which is wanted for a scenic reserve for Feilding. There ii still a. eubatantial differ--ence 'between the revised price wanted by the owners and the Government valuation. The Feildihg Borough Council has decided to again approach the local bodies in this district with a viow to getting granta towards the cost of the bush.
