On -the occasion leferred to there wa«>service at St. Paul's pro-Cathedral, followed by a procession, •starting from the Government Buildings, ai?d trpops, riite -club members, veterans, city officials, reprejentativ&s of local bodies, athletic clubs, and so en. They marched to tho Ba«jin JRcoerve, vhe.'e the children ware already assembled, and the Governor was also present. The [National Anthem and a verse of "The Old Hundredth" were sung, the Governor gave an address, as did also the .Mayor and the Prime Minister, the itroe-pe fired a feu de joie. and the Peiinanent Artillery fired a Royal Salute of 101 guns from the saluting battery. That ■programme, said the Hon. J. Carroll, -would be followed on this occafcion, with ,the necessary modifications, and he" had already asked the co-operation of the Mayor (Mr. T. M. Wiliord) in making the aecoßsary arrangements.
