AMERICAN SYNDICATE SECURES LAND IN QUEENSLAND. By Telegraph.— Preas Association.— Copyright. (Received May 1, 10 a.m.) * _ BRISBANE, This Day. An American syndicate has secured four' thousand acres, and proposes to acquire altogether thirty thousand acres, in Cairns and Port Douglas District for rubber growing. The syndicate intends to cut the land up into blocks and settle experienced American rubber growers on it.
