The No-license Conference adopted resolutions in favour of giving practical support to the establishment of liquorless hotels, the principle of State option, and repeal of the three-fifths majority clause at the local option polls. The Licensed Victuallers' Association discussed the question of temperance hotels. Statements were made to the ' effect that prohibition cities in America were dismal, gloomy places.
