THE EXHIBITION.

Workmen are already engaged to-day in stacking timber at the Harbour Board'e new J Shed for the exhibition. An application for details of the proposed entertainments in connection with the exhibition has been received from a Melbourne combination which claims to have bean doing enormous business at St. Kilda., the popular Melbourne marine reeort. Committeeinen of the exhibition are now expecting to be very busy between this and the opening day next month.
