Reid (Otago), 37ft Oiin, 1; W. Bennett (Canterbury), 33ft bin, 2. A record. Mile Flat Championship. — Dougall (Canterbury) 1, Orain (Victoria College) 2, Bamford (Auckland) 3. Won easily by 55yds. The win carries the De la. Mere Challenge- Cup, which has been won by Dougall for the third time in succession. Time, 4min • 403ec. 220 yds Flat Championship. — Duncan (Victoria College) 1, Thomas (Canterbury) 2, Mauns-ell (Canterbury) 3. Won easily by 3yds. Time, 24 *2-ssec. Long Jump Championship. — Milla-rd (Olago) 1, Egles (Victoria College) 2, Reynolds (Auckland) 3. The winner broke the university record of 21ft llin recorded by Gilray in 1907, and retained the championship. 880 yds Flat Champsonshin. — Dougail (Canterbury) 1, Reid (Victoria College) 2, Jermyn (Auckland) 3. Time, 2min 4sec. AT TENNIS. The University Tennis Tournament was resumed this morning. Men's Singles, semi-final : Smith (Canterbury) beat PArtridge (Otago), 6—4,6 — 4, 6 — i. Men's Doubles, semi-final: Jennings and Smith (Canterbury) beat Robertshawe and Marshall (Auckland), 6—o,6 — 0, 6—4. Parker and Taylor (Wellington) beat Beamish and Seymour (Canterbury), I_6, 6—4, 6—3. Ladies' Singles, first round : Mies Cummings (Auckland) beat Mrs. Bogle (Wellington), last year's champion, 9—3.9 — 3. Semi-final: Miss Cross (Canterbury) beat Miss Smith (Wellington), 9—7. Ladies' Doubles, second round : Misses Bogle and Tennant (Wellington) beat Misses Crawley and Farnie (Wellington), 9—6.
