TO INQUEST. j By_ Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright* ' (Received April 17, ',) a.m.) j VANCOUVER^ 16th April. < lAs a result of the inqmast regarding! the deaths of the victims by tho loss of the small steamer Iroquois, yrhich was wrecked near Victoria (8.C.), eighteen lives being lost, Captain Sears, of the Iroquois, who at the nautical enquiry admitted that he went home after landing the lifeboat, and did nob wait to search for bodies, has been arrested on a charge of manslaughter. The evidence at the inquest Bhowed that the captain did not take proper precautions for the safety of the passengers. ,
