LODGE MEETINGS.

Tha Hope of Petone Lodge of Good Templars held their weekly session in the Ranfurly Hall, "Bro. G, Rose, C.T., presiding over a good attendance of members. After the general routine business was disposed of the lodge went into recess, the following contributing items:— Sisters Childs, Garret^ Baoumgreen, Willis, Denbyj and Bros. Robertson and Eades. tight refreshments were provided by Bro. Robertson. Next week the meeting will take the form of a musical evening. At tho weekly meeting of the Pioneer Lodge, No. 11, 1.0. G.T., Bro. 11. J. Millan, 0.T., presided over a large attendance of members and visitors. After the routine business waa concluded, the lodge was declared open arid tho following programme was presented : — Piano selection, Sister Campion; songs, Messrs. Partridge, Frandi, and Master Beale; recitations. Miss Blanche Willis; violin selections, Mr. Partridge. The programme concluded with an amusing comedietta, entitled "A Midsummer JestT" which was entertainingly enacted by Misses Bishop, Pepper, M. Richards, and Campion. A hearty vote of thanks was awarded to the performers, and to Sisters Pepper, Campion, and Richards for arranging the items. The item for next week will be "Holiday Programme."
