REVOLUTION IN MEXICO.
A TOWN CAPTURED. AFTER A FIERCE BATTLE. By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright. , MEXICO CITY, 13th April. It is reported that the rebels have abandoned Arizpe and retreated, burning the railway bridges. The rebels attacked Aguaprieta on Tuesday night, and captured the place, after a fierce battle. Thousands of Americans watched the conflict from the frontier, several spectators being wounded by stray bullets. The Federal headquarters were wiecked by an explosion during tho engagement. The garrison, numbering seventy, gallantly defended the position, but were overpowered. The Federals fled across the frontier, where the Americans disarmed them. A report from Dougla& (Arizona; states that American troops crotsed the ■ | border and stopped the battle after Douglas had suffered from the firing for three hours. One American was killed and several wounded by flying bullets.
