PROBATE AND ADMINISTRATION.
On the motion of Mr. J. W. Macdonald, the solicitor to the Public Trust Office, the Supreme Court on Thursday granted to the Public Trustee probate of the wills of the undermentioned deceased persons :— -John Briggs, late of Wellington, police sergeant ; Felix M'Gahey. late of Timaru, lighthousekeeper ; Catherine Owens, late of Taylorville, widow ; Frederick Augustus Miller, late of Lawrence, builder ; Albertina 1 Williamina Filgate Drury, late of Auckland, widow ; George Bisset, late of Wellington, editor; James Gear, late of Porirua, gentleman ; James Smyth, late of Opoho, painter ; Mary Ann Dunkloy, late of Roxburgh, widow ; Alison or Alice Muir, late of Auckland, formerly of Creytown, milliner. Orders to administer were also granted to tho Public 'Trustee ia respect of the estates of the following deceased persons : — Frederick Arthur Leigh, late of Kapuni, farmer ; William John M'llree or Macilree, late of Christchurch, dentist • Joseph Fitness, late of Rehia, farmer ; James Briger Smith, late of Katui, >
