WILL CALL AT NEW ZEALAND., -By. Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright, (Received April 11, 9 a.m.) CHRISTIANIA', 10th April. Captain Amundsen, the explorer, in &, letter to his committee, states that after landing him, in tho Antarctic, the Fram will make oceanographic observations in the Atlantic. Captain Amundsen^ on his return, from the Antarctic regions, will call at New Zealand and then at San Francisco. [Dr. Charcot, the French Polar exiplorer, gives it as his opinion (stated a Sydney Sun cable message a few days ago) that Captain Scott will beat Captain Amundsen in the race for theSouth Pole.]
