HOME RULE ENVOYS.
In an interesting letter to a> prominent Irishman .in Wellington, Mr. John E. Redmond (Leader of the Irish Horn« Rule Party) mentioned that the three envoys — Messrs. Hazleton, Donovan, and 1 Redmond — are to spend ten weeks in New Zealand, and after that they visit Australia. After referring' to' 'the success of the former mission of Messrs. Devlin and Donovan in New Zealand, Mr. Redmond adds: "We are now on the eve of Home Rule. While the Government and the Liberal Party are not only sympathetic towards Ireland, but full of earnestness and determination to settle the Irish question, yet wa feel that, in justice to them, it is out; duty to place before the British elec-< torate such a' presentation of the Irish case as will make the weight of oui cause irresistible. " , A meet-ing of all sympathisers (irre-» spective of race or creed) with the movement will be held this evening in St., Patrick's Hall, Boulcott^street, at 3 o'clock.
