f»I TELEGBAPH — PSES3 ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The going was good at Riccarton this morning. Husbandman and Countermine were together at tha end of seven furlongs run in lmin 30 45sec. Madam Madcap wae better than Sharpshooter over seven f«ri©ffgs run in lmin 31sec. Counterfeit beat Masterpiece over six furlongs in lmin 17^-ssec. Chief Lochiel (who was left at tha post) beat Flambeau over six furlongs in. lmin 16 l-ssec. Ontlander beat Fasnakyle easily over a mile' in lmin 45sec, and Pilgrim's Way ran six furlongs in lmin 16 2-ssec, but finished badly. Royal Scotch, on the course proper, ran. a half-mile in 48 4-ssec. This is considered a brilliant performance, though there may be doubt about- the distance covered. Los Aiigeloe went rather disappointingly a mile and a quarter in 2mm 11 3-ssec. Colleen Mary, Kohinoor, and Tannhauser were associated in a six furlongs go, Colleen Mary finishing half a length in front of Kohinoor, in lmin 15 4-ssec. This time could probably have been' improved on if the mare had been extended. Prim and Coroniform went a mile in lmin 44sec, finishing together. Kilwining did the same distance in lmin_4Bsec. walking lame at the finish. White Cockade did a good gallop over the same distance. Formless went five furlongs in lmin 3 2-ssec. Mai-tine, alone, did a mile in lmin 44-l-ssec. Cheddar was better than Montiform 'at the end of a y strong mile run in lmin 45 3-ssec.
