The manager Jled in an automoEile, the rebels pursuing and shooting at him for 15 miles. Tho csr dashed over rocks and ditches and through fences ,and finally crcesed the frontier safely. Tho Mexican Federal troops arrived on the scene later, and prepared to besiege Mexicali, where the marauders have taken refuge.
