CRUSHED BY A TRUCK.

FAXAL ACCIDENT OK A WHARF. As a gang of men engaged on the Glasgow Wharf on Saturday evening were preparing the last truck of frozenmutton to be unloaded, one of their number was crushed between a truck and a crane, and the injuries he Teceived resulted in his- death. The men ,were transferring mutton from the. Arucks to tlas hold of the New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Kaipara,. and the unfortunate man, William Sherwood, residing at 238, Willis-street, was walking in front of the last truck as it wae beting hauled into position.
