MEASURES FOR ENSURING WORKERS' SAFETY. By Telegraph,— jfreeß Association.— Copyright LONDON, 4th March. The committee appointed by Mr. Winston Churchill, the Home Secretary, it* October last, with Mr. C. F. G. *Masterman (Under-Secretary to the Home Department) as chairman, to consider the rescue arrangements in mines, and to draft new regulations for ensuring, safety, recommends the establishment oi a brigade in every mine and borough to be trained and fitted for rescue work (which will be restricted to authorised' persons) ; also the maintenance of the necessary apparatus and the latert tracings of the workings in mines.
