« TRAMWAYS CLUB. Most of the foobball clubs in the city aare bugy a t present with th© preparation of their annual reports arid balancesheets, and the. way ,will soon be cleared for training preparatory to entering in eamesfr the popular -winter pastime. The Tramways Club has already held its annual meeting. Mr. M'Giliibra-y presided. The balance-sheet .showed a credit of £15 14s lid. Officers were elected as follows : — Patron, his Worship thei Mayor of Wellington; president, Mr. G. E. James-; chairman of management committee,' Mr. Duncan M'Gillibray ; vice-presidents, Mr. Stuart Eichardson, Mr. M. Cable, Mr. Trevor, Mr. Morrah, Dr. A. K. Newman, Mr. Gardiner, Mr. Fletcher, Mr. Fitzgerald, Mr. Hindmarsh, Mr. M'Ooll, Mr. Russell. Mr. E. H. Minrie was elected secretary and treasurer; Ttfr. Leslie club captain and delegate to Eugfry Union; Mr. A. J. Maiden, selector. The club was congratulated on its fine performance last season, being the winners >f the Wednesday championship. Matches played during last season were 12, including fthe Auckland* match, played at Auckland; championship matches, won 10, lost 1, drew lj points scored, 145, against 33. This year the Auckland match will be played at Wellington, for tho Eohn Dominion Shield.
